WWF's Smartphone App Very Successful

Within a week WWF Switzerland's guide «sustainable food» has been downloaded more than 5,000 times from the iTunes Store.

iPhone app: consumers love WWF's tips on sustainable food.

The iPhone app which was developed by getunik was listed among the Top 10 downloads last week. And now Android users can download the app as well. Anyone who still hasn't got it yet, it is easy to find: www.wwf.ch/app (available in german, french, italian).

The guide application brings WWF's tips and recommendations on food products and services directly on smartphones:

• Sustainable fish and seafood,
• Seasonal fruits and vegetables,
• Recommended restaurants.

WWF's food guide app is being expanded and updated with the latest information from WWF.
